No question. Just frustrating and heart breaking. You stay on H-1B for 15-20 years and still nowhere close to getting a GC, and now extensions and transfers are RFE’d and rejected left and right. There is no hope left for ever getting a GC.
Isn't relocating to Canada or your home country an option ? You can come back once your GC is processed. Don't lose hope. There is always a way.
Yah all of those are options but I have lived here for like 15 years, have a kid who has not lived anywhere but here, have a house. You get the point. To move to Canada or to my country is highly disruptive. There is always a way, it’s just that things keep getting more and more difficult, which frustrates you.
Understand you situation friend. Don't worry too much about rfe and rejections by statistics. With good employer and role, the chances are next to nothing. Even with rfe, shouldn't be an issue. I guess Vancouver is the next best option.
FTE in Apple are getting RFE and rejection. It happens.
I've been seeing a lot of these too. At this point, Indians and to some extent, Chinese should ideally leave the country. We're at risk of getting kicked out any time now.
Leave? Why? RFE and rejection are mostly for consulting firms
I've seen them happen at Amazon and FB. There was a big post about someone from Harvard who you rejected after quite some years in FB.
Did you transfer get denied?
No I’m about to go through it soon and just saw the latest statistics
