Hello! I am a Master's student (2017Aug -2019 May) in a reputed university in US. From May 2018 to August 2018 I took full time CPT and worked 40hrs per week. From August 2018 - May 2019 I took part time CPT and I am working 20 hrs a week. During this time I attended classes and I am a full time student. My internship company is with in 15 miles and commute to the office. My DSO approved this and informed me that part time CPT would not affect OPT. Is working for 1 year bad while on student visa? Will I have RFEs during by H1B/OPT/STEM OPT process? If you know anyone who is in a similar situation please let me know. I am very tensed and anxious. Any insights are considered valuable. Thank you.
Wtf is this post
What didn't you understand ?
Orange man bad!!
From someone who has gone through CPT -> OPT -> H1B -> GC (in process), you are fine. As long as you don’t do 1 year of CPT full time, you should be good for OPT. Doing 1 year CPT full time will make you ineligible for OPT. On OPT you could do 1 year and do STEM extension. Even if there’s RFE, you could prove that you are well inside the boundaries of the book.
Thanks

Going thru the same situation Rn too lol did you hear anything back?
I applied for OPT. No status update yet. What about you?
Same. Received 45 days ago and haven’t heard back anything. DSO said everything should be fine too so I guess we will have to wait and see :?
Here's a suggestion for the title "h1b rfe chances ?"
