This year, there were a lot many RFE's, H1b-extension denials and also OPT denials. People are passing bills to end the OPT-STEM extension. And then in 2020 there are clouds of recession, chances of Republicans to win again, how much certainty do we have to work in United States? Any thoughts...
Recession won't hit in 2020 for sure because Trump wants to win the election and he'll do anything to delay recession in the election year.
I agree with the recession will be force delayed but will hit soon after elections.
Disclaimer: obviously everything is speculation, if I knew I’d make a lot of money instead of talking to you jokers. I think recession 2020 is a certainty and we may be in for a wild ride because the fed won’t have interest rates to lower (they are already lowering). I have a bad feeling about the back half of the year. I think early next year we will get a boost from a trade deal with China but then the market will start going down and then the economy. It probably won’t be 2008 but maybe.
Trump won't be able to stop the recession to happen?
FR is already stabilizing the over night lending markets. The signs are starting to show up. Trump will have very little tools to work with. He is even talking like idiot already about negative rates. The signs are there - the only question is the full blown melt
Trade war will bankrupt rogue Chinese communist state funded corporations, and the blast radius will be huge.
