Had onsite this morning, got an email from recruiter an hour ago to schedule 10 min follow up phone call. He said Tuesday. Why Tuesday??? What does this mean? Why would he need to wait until Tuesday?
Maybe ppl are busy putting an offer together?
You got an offer and the recruiter wants to discuss the salary with you . Else you would have received an email stating “we were impressed by your skills and background. However they don’t match with our current requirements”
Not necessarily. Very common to have scheduled rejection calls nowadays though I think an email should suffice
Yea... That's what I'm worried about
Which company?
Because it’s Taco Tuesday.
Pretty sure it’s a rejection hence not occupying an important slot !!
Recruiter is saying C U Next Tuesday.
Probably a rejection call especially if you interviewed at Google, Airbnb, Instacart or Pinterest.
Sorry op, it sounds like rejection call but hope i am wrong. All the best.
Because his calendar is full till then?
Can't spare 10 mins?
I don’t know. Maybe not. There’s a hundred reasons why not til Tuesday. Maybe he’s out of office till then. Maybe he can’t get feedback till then. Maybe they are meeting with other candidates and will have a larger perspective by then. Worrying about it does nothing. Chill.
