There are some pretty drastically different estimates of home prices with the three platforms. Which is the most accurate on your opinion?
Take the average?
Yup. An “accurate estimate” is as paradoxical as “definitely maybe”

I noticed that redfin is the fastest to adapt to recent sales, so seems most accurate in the areas i check.. Zillow has a more conservative model.. (slower) Not sure about trulia..
Redfin seems very aggressive with the estimates vs the other two.
Aggressive = more expensive?
I would see if your realtor can hook you up with HomeBot
None of them are accurate, ask a realtor.
And that's accurate? 🤦♂️
Yep, much more accurate. Only the market will be set the price but a good agent can apply human logic to comps and factor things no algorithm can consider. Zillow is only as good as the limited data points it can consider.
They are all rough averages based on whatever factors and weights they decide on. This did not factor in characteristics of a house ie. anything interior like floor plans and excluding outliers in comparable homes, worst or better interiors, bad schools in a good school district, weird street or next to a highway etc.
Zillow estimates same for all houses on the same street as long as they are close each other by sqf. It doesn't consider any renovation or futures of a house.
Wondering same for Seattle
