No clear path to SDE3. All people here is gather feedback, write service before peak and deprecate before next peak. Managers are all about promoting the choosen ones. Giving all critical work to chosen 1s.

Basically, I need to drag myself to work and try hard not to lash out on any1 at office.

How’s the pay like for ICT3 and 4? For someone with 6-7 yoe?

For an external ICT4 here, they're asking for at least 8-9 years of experience. For ICT3, expect a base of 28-32 lacs/year and sign on of 3-5 lacs and stocks of 9-12 lacs/year

And also make sure you don't join IS&T org (Apple Online Store in India, I think)

@YRVa51 why is the team bad. Also will they increase the RSU s. I have a counter offer from Flipkart

They don't increase or negotiate offer based on counters. I had counters from Flipkart, Uber, Amazon and they didn't budge.

IS&T has bad managers who came from services background as contractors and ended up turning full time. That's the primary reason not to join as it shows in work quality, quality of colleagues etc

I assume you are in Bangalore? Have you explored internal moves? There are reasonable teams that do quite a bit of cool work in BLR. Ping me if you need any connections.

I think it might be about culture as OP explained in the answer above

Possible, but it is never really a mono-culture. There are teams with good engineering focus that folks may like better.
