I just completed my Masters in Computer Science from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. I am looking for a New Grad (Entry Level) Software Engineer position. Can anyone help me to get a referral for a New Grad Software Engineer position at the company like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, LinkedIn, Uber, Lyft, Lime, Oracle, Adobe, Airbnb, Dropbox, Netflix, and so on? Did you ever do any internships?
I don't have any internship experiences but I do have 2 years of experiences as a Research Assistant at NMTech
Unfortunately research assistant position doesn't count as tech experience. Industry doesn't consider academic experience, unless you are going for research scientist. I know your frustration, I've been there before. If you still cannot get a grad position, then maybe look for an internship for the meanwhile.
