Hey folks. I was curious to their interviewing process and was looking to see if i could possibly get a referral from any of you kind folks! I have no idea how it differs from our interview process, so any help would be appreciated! Also for some reason blind isn’t letting me tag Dropbox. Weird.
In what sense FB was tough? Is it leetcode hard or tough interviewers?
Both. They asked for fairly difficult math derivations and in depth deep learning theory questions. The interviewers also seemed needlessly hostile. Coding questions we're also the hardest I've seen (Twillio and AirBnB are a close second though)
Ohh .. didnt know FB goes so deep in domain ... how many yoe do you have?
I just interviewed at both places. The interviews weren't hard. LinkedIn was very thorough and the harder of the two: I was asked math questions, theory questions, coding questions and so forth. Honestly Dropbox was very straightforward and their office / food / culture was awe inspiring
Sick. Think our interview process is harder? Need a good gauge.
The issue here I haven't seen Google's interview process in a while. It certainly was much harder when I did it. Facebook and Airbnb are also much harder (I've done then recently). The caveat is this: I'm interviewing for ML roles so I'm not sure how that effects the questions. And for LinkedIn, if your preparing for a ML role make sure youve prepared a breath of stuff. They will ask you to do math derivations and stats theory questions and other stuff (nothing super hard but you'll need to remember it)
