I hate the people opining on people who "only work 9-5". Just because they've decided all their energy goes to work doesn't mean everyone must 🙄
Plus if you work 9-5, dodge low value meetings, don't spend time on Reddit you're going to be way more productive than people I see doing 50hrs week spending it on Reddit and meetings. 9-5 of focused work can as draining as 50 hrs of work and as productive as 60.
Totally agree! Most people I've noticed just suck at managing their time to be productive and end up making it up after hours because they spent too much time on reddit and other distractions not related to work.
Plenty of the people on my team work 10-6 and there's plenty of progress. Just don't go to a bunch of meetings every day.
