This is my first post on Blind so please don't mind if it's not appropriate. I saw 2 openings at Google for 2020 grads. One of them is for Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and other for Mobile Developer(Android). I have a good profile that matches with the job description and i want to apply asap but the problem is that i haven't really prepared much yet (only ~120 leetcode). If I apply now, chances are i would be rejected and then i would have to face the 1 year lock down but if i wait for like a month and practice more before applying then the job opening might expire(I've heard google hires on rolling basis) I have just started my final year of my UG course and I'm new to job hunting and I'm really confused if i should apply now or wait for some time before applying. Any help is appreciated !!
Apply now if you even get call... your telephonic round will be around sept end... ample time to prepare...
Just apply. It’ll take forever for a recruiter to reach out (if at all) and the whole process is slow. I aced my interviews and literally did 0 leetcodes. Read Cracking the Coding Interview.
People looking for grad jobs have been asking for referrals for a while. Aren't you already late to start applying now?
I think the openings were released on 26th August so I am around a week late. I wasn't planning to apply earlier but after reading the comments here I'm planning to apply for these positions now as soon as I get a referral for them.
Thanks @cloudy_sky @4096 @$:$38@ for the response. Really appreciate it :)
Wait and prepare. These roles are very generic, there will always be more.
Yes. Google is always hiring new grads.
New grads have fixed windows to apply. What do you mean wait? They can’t be jobless after they graduate, can they
