How’s it working at Ring? Culture, product/eng team? What is the interview process for PMs?
They lost their unlimited vacation. We got to keep ours, so every Amazon subs is different experience
Unlimited is crap. I rather take 3 or 4 week vacation. I never seen anyone take 2 months off anyways.
How much is limited pto at Amazon?
No 200- if(debug) has it right
Advice for you: do not negotiate salary and stock options even they give you lowball offer. This is their culture, you don't work for money but for the interest of IoT.
Recruiter, then manager phone, then team interview
Are the phone calls behavioral?
Yes all behavioral. Which worries me a bit... currently undergoing interview process
Recruiters will lowball you on minimum possible offer, culture is okay just work
How much does a Ring senior PM make? Do they follow amazon pay?
0-15% lower, so depends
Tough founder still causing chaos daily
Do you know what their senior PM tc range is?
How's the compensation package? Tips on the breakdown between salary, stock, and bonus?
Update on this: Ring is a terrible place to work. Lot of hacks who think they are good L8s. Jamie Siminoff might as well be called Mussolini. All the good stuff is being done in Ukraine by contractors because it’s cheap. If you want to be treated like garbage, come to Ring.
its owned by Amazon now so expect 60 hour work weeks and no 401k match.
Amazon has a 401k match
Been looking for a 60 hour week, but can’t find one. Might have to join Microsoft :(
