Thermostat set to 68 in my house. Windows open would be counter intuitive as the hot air would escape
Now. Last night was cold. I am CA winter acclimated and I feel cold. This is my attempt to fend off people that have ‘real’ winters.
Just started using heater this last week
65
66-68. Windows are closed most of the time. I open my windows periodically to have fresh air come in.
Live in SF, use heating maybe 2-4 nights a year. I’m Indian but still never feel cold here.
Why would anybody open windows with heat on?
To breathe fresh air, while staying warm.
California has had 6/10 of its worst first in the last two years and this is what you’re thinking about
Set to 59 degrees at night. Then up around 63 around 7am
Have an room thermometer. Usually start heating when it hits around 70F. No I keep windows closed. Used to feel a bit suffocated earlier but I'm OK now
