Title : Sr SWE YoE: 5 after college, 6 in total Salary: 147k+10k signing or 155k base w/o signing, performance bonus 20% + equity Location: Financial district, SF It's a FinTech company. They're an early startup(about 1 year old) but already got the product running and generating revenue. So i feel like this company won't be bursted. It's either going to grow or acquired. However, i found the base salary too low. What do Blind people think about it? What base salary + bonus is acceptable?
how much equity? ($)
The recruiter doesn't know the valuation of the equity 😂. I asked them but i don't really think i should consider it as part of my TC
If you don't, then they need to hike the base by about 100k.
Get like 160 at least. Rly low salary here
They just bumped to 155k
Also how big is the company? You should know how much % of the company you’re getting in equity.
Basically they said they've got $500M investment for 200M stock. I don't really understand whether this is all the stock that they're handing out or 200M stock is worth some percentage of entire company
Just ask them they should tell you
Way too low
