Wrong place to post this. You’ll get bashed just as bad as that Facebook exec, for the most part. People have lost their damn minds. ‘Witnesses’ connected to Ford denied recalling any of this nonsense but the media continues to try and twist Kavanaugh’s testimony as an angry partisan rant that should disqualify him from the position. The man was accused of gang rape. I think I would be pissed if someone accused me of the same, ruining my reputation, with zero corroborative evidence. First he wasn’t qualified because the allegation was assumed true. Next was the fact that he (like literally EVERYONE in high school) may or may not have been a jackass/drank before. Now, it’s because he’s upset by the claims. What are we pointing to next? It just feels like reaching. Does no one else pay attention to the sketchy timing of these accusations, either? It’s pretty clear the Dems are leveraging this to keep a GOP’er out and stall time before mid terms. I sympathize for any sexual assault victims; the claims are disgusting if true. However, saying “believe women” is as bad as saying “believe men”. Listen to everyone, believe evidence. I pray for all our future in the US
