SRE at Apple or Linkedin ?

They are not hiring for SRE it seems as of now. I get rejection email whenever I apply or maybe Google is not liking my resume ;). However, I get reached out for Sysadmin role immediately which I am not interested in.
How much coding experience do you have? Google is definitely still hiring SREs, but the target candidate might be slightly different from SRE at other companies.
You will be fascinated about LinkedIn’s culture and WLB. Don’t go to Apple. It’s worst decision I’ve ever made.

Apple SRE: (mostly) good talent, shit tech stack LinkedIn: vice versa. You can choose to make a dent at LinkedIn, but heard the politics are awful there in most orgs.
I don’t know where did you hear about politics at LinkedIn. I have worked at 4 companies so far (start and big names included), and LinkedIn is the least political place by all measures.
I know two smart and good people that told me, one left for FB, and when I interviewed onsite I did not get good vibes from the host manager. But that said, I don’t want my comments to be misleading, if what you’re saying is true then good for you.

I voted LinkedIn because I always hear glowing praise for culture/WLB. But perhaps that's more for devs and not SREs
