I have been working in public sector consulting (large-scale custom system implementations) doing program/project management/PMO support for the past 5 years or so. Trying to get a Sr Technical Program Manager position in one of the FAANGs. I am starting to get interview calls - can someone tell me how much should be a realistic salary range that I ask for? I have not worked in the Bay Area/Seattle, so not sure how the salary negotiation works. Total YOE is 11 years and I have a masters in EE. Thanks!
levels.fyi for a range. Talk in terms of TC, especially with Amazon.
Levels?
It's a website: https://www.levels.fyi
Focus on interviews, salary will be based on how you performed in interview and how many competitive offers you have.
That is fair, thank you.
OP, did you get an offer from FAANG+? I am in the same boat now as you were in 2019 and would really appreciate if you could inform me about how you prepared and your interview experiences.

I understand. Trying to ensure that the range I offer to start things off is realistic, though.
