Why can’t your “friend” join blind and ask this himself? Weird

Why what’s your problem with me asking ? If you can’t give a proper answer, then why answer at all ? Weirdo

    OP - kdbilla is correct.

If your friend cannot join Blind and ask for himself, then why anyone will answer for your friend!

No I am not new in here. And as far as I know it has never been so hostile before. Been here for a long time. Is this an official policy of @blind that someone has to join blind for getting their questions answered and no one in their behalf can’t ask it ??

Hey friend here, sorry everyone should have just done this myself. I used the search and levels.fyi and found a ton of salary info on Cisco so I withdraw my question!

There is nothing hostile in asking why can’t your friend join himself. When someone asks you a question you don’t like, doesn’t mean they are hostile. You need to man up a bit more and stop whining - even this is not hostile, just FYI

All good points kdbilla. Sorry about my friend, she’s new here.

That bs. You did say "man" up not even knowing that it's sexist. I know many people who work at Cisco and my sister in law is a hr manager at Oracle who would fire you on the spot with misogynistic comments like that. An attitude like that does NOT make your organization proud, it causes harm to it.

kKOi88 - if your sister in law fires me for saying “man up”, I will sue the shit out of her and own every miserable penny she ever earned or will earn.

And misogyny! Wow really? I really don’t know if you are just talking out of pure ignorance or if you are just a drama queen or if you are just a simple plain old idiot..

How can the friend join if s/he doesn't already work in tech with an employer e-mail address?

Wow.. what an amazing catch!! How come no one thought of this! Simply genius.. NOT!! Read the original post, Einstein. The post says YOE = 2 years. This means the “friend” is already working somewhere else. That means he/she can join blind from the current company.
Oh my god! What kinda people are coming here to comment. And your stupid comment has 1 like too. Unbelievable!

Nobody said the friend was working at a company whose employees are eligible to be part of Blind. There are plenty of postdocs with 2 YoE looking to get into tech companies.

And also nobody said the friend is working on a company which does not allow employees to post in blind. So not sure what you are trying to say here

That was a simple question. You people are pathetic for having a discussion about etiquette for Blind.
