I am being offered following package: Base 195k Bonus 30k RSU's 25k/year I have 10 yoe. Is this a good offer? What can I expect?
That's a low ball offer. RSUs should be at least triple.
They cannot triple. Max 35k / year for SMTS
Had an offer from them earlier for swe which I easily declined; 4yoe $145 and 0 RSUs so it def is possible for these low equity grants
The rsu is super low...you are low balled
I have heard salesforce is stingy in terms of rsus. Typically how much go they give new hire senior engineers.
10 YOE should be LMTS probably
How was the process? Heard they still still give a take home for senior+ engineers.
I think the offer is good for SMTS. The salary band is on higher side for this role. I have a 13year experience person as SMTS on my team who recently joined, so levels at Salesforce are weird tbh
salesforce will downgrade when joined from other companies... But it will easy promote folks internally when joined as AMTS.
That's not true, promotions are hard
It cracks me up, how someone who started at Salesforce can become a SMTS in 4 years and we are hiring someone with 10 yoe for the same level if they are from outside. I think this is ok offer for salesforce, we are stingy on RSUs for sure.
RSU 25K and base 195K? Weird offer! Are you sure you typed your RSUs correctly?
