We use Salesforce and it's great but expensive. Anyone ever use Microsoft Dynamics? How does it compare with Salesforce?
This isn’t even a question. Salesforce all the way!
Do you use Salesforce at Microsoft?
LObx02 must have joined Salesforce!
Used both to great success... cost of continued operations for Salesforce being lower (dev, customization, growth from small to medium to larger business) and the vibrancy of the marketplace/solution puts Salesforce ahead in my book.
salesforce >> Microsoft dynamics. if you aren't getting more than your money's worth, you probably can do a lot more than you realize
Salesforce is the best. With that being said, Dynamics may be able to meet your needs (and will be cheaper). Just be very clear on what you need.
I think you need to look at the differences based on your needs. I've worked at large companies where Salesforce was horrible and I've seen instances where dynamics wasn't great either. Dynamics integrates with all of Microsoft's software which is a huge plus and the LinkedIn integration is only going to make it that much better. That being said, each has its pros and cons. Cost is only one lever.
When is LinkedIn going to switch to Dynamics? They still call us for support lol
Considering that Salesforce called the waaambulance in the EU to try and stop the LinkedIn acquisition I'm sure Microsoft is aware of the lawyers waiting to pounce if they switch too fast.
Salesforce...Microsoft products are buggy...they test on customers..
As a person who worked within O365, I can only confirm it
Hilarious a msft person recommends salesforce
Microsoft Dynamics 365 was just announced product in the upper right-hand quadrant by Forrester two days ago beating out salesforce in every category. Dynamics 365 is the platform to go with. Integration with Azure and machine learning out of the box and office 365 boom
All crap...This is how Microsoft folks sell..nothing works after that
Salesforce is all hype and marketing. Dynamics beats SFDC when you look at the full value. We beat Salesforce all the time when we go head to head. Give Dynamics a chance (it has come a long way in the last 3 years).
You clearly have never used Salesforce - any charts that shows Oracle at the top has zero credibility
Yes I've tried it and the proprietary salesforce language is great; super useful in many contexts and developers love learning new languages for one off saas apps. It also adds so much value. I'm sure it doesn't increase the cost of integration 10 fold.
Good for small shops but when u grow u gotta call us
Why is that? I'm sure Microsoft can handle lots of data. Do they have stricter governor limits?
One of Salesforce's biggest customers switched to Dynamics last year. Gartner also shows Microsoft leading Salesforce in the last round of analysis... So the two platforms now compete well, in my opinion (not so much a couple years ago)
