Hey y’all! I am an international student on F1 Visa and I’ll be travelling to India in the December of 2019 and have layovers at multiple places in China. I was just informed by the airline that I need to have a Schengen Visa. I don’t understand why do I need to Shengen Visa coz it is for EU. If at all I need one, which Schengen Visa would I need? And would it be possible to get it done in US while being a foreign national in the US? Thanks!
Uh what? A schengen visa for China? Are you sure there’s no layover in Europe? China has their own embassy and their own visa. I have a 10 year China visa, never once have I been asked to get a Schengen.
Yeah! That’s why I’m confused and finally turned up to Blind community. Thanks though! 😀
As Chase said, what Schengen got to do w/ China? But even then you shouldn't need any visa. You are considered "in transit" for visa purposes as long as you don't leave the airport. Sounds like your airliner messed up something. Better clear it up or else you risk getting stranded.
Yeah! Probably airline messed up!
Are you fishing for likes? A question that stupid won't get you any.
I’m far off with 16 yrs old begging for likes. Gone are those days bud!
Just google it.. stop wasting time !
Do you really think I did not google enough? Wasn’t able to find anything concrete there.
