Have 5 hrs in Seattle before flying out, had planned to visit Boeing but discouraged after reading reviews. Any suggestions or alternatives? Traveling with family.
If you're into single malts, go for a tasting at Westland or Copperworks. No reservations needed. Super cool how they do small batch single malts producing a caliber that rivals the best scotch on the market.
Tour a tent city, just watch where you step.
Go to SLU, check out Mohai museum, then go to museum of Pop and if you have time go to Gas work park , chill and enjoy the view
If you were interested in aviation there is the museum of flight. Not amazing but worth the visit if you‘re in to aviation. But it’s a little south of Seattle - you’ll lose an hour or so getting there. There’s more cool tech stuff to see in SLU.
“Not amazing” - wtf? It’s one of the best aviation museums in the world.
Take a lightrail from SeaTac to Downtown Seattle. Go to Pike Place Market, grab a coffee at First Starbucks, walk around the market and near the waters. Shop at the local stores, it is fun. Then go to Wings over Washington, good fun with family. After that either go to Space Needle or Columbia Tower, look at the view of Seattle. Grab food at one of many Teriyaki places nearby and take a light rail back to SeaTac.
If this seems overkill for five hours, skip Space Needle/Columbia Tower.
Doesn’t the light rail itself take like 45 mins ?
Chihuli
Dick’s Drive In for a Deluxe, fries, and a shake. The Mecca for a stiff drink and a loud jukebox.
Tour a safe injection site.
Fake news, there are none
Any street downtown qualifies.
