Any forecast for seattle real estate market? Doesnt seem like its slwoing down. Also how many are hoarding to wait for the crash?
There is definitely some FOMO in the market. FOMOs typically don’t end well...but at this point no one sees any end..there are no headwinds for economy or markets..people are not expecting any crash till 2020/2021.. Isn’t this a classic setup for surprise..
High density will drive up prices of space in Seattle. Single family knock downs in Ballard are selling for over a million because you can put 4 $800k townhomes in it. Old townhomes can be bought up and knocked down for rent extracting apartments. The demand for land will prevent a big drop in prices, but the buyers will change - owning a home won't be a reality for many middle class folks.
Way cheaper than bay and Vancouver. Much room to grow.
Wishful thinking that it's going to pop. With the demand real estate agents are seeing I don't see that happening.
