Thinking of renting there! Is it safe? Anything to watch out for?How would the commute be to Amazon offices?
The reasonably priced apartments are left over motels from the 1964 Worlds Fair. Living room window facing a public walkway. But neighborhood has the Seattle “charm” and easy commute to Amazon
What other neighborhoods would you recommend?
Fremont, Ballard, Wallingford
Totally fine! Accessible to most parts of downtown and the broader city. Walkable and has many bus lines running through it.
It's basically the intersection neighborhood of Belltown, SLU and Queen Anne. It has good restaurants and close to a QFC. Safer than Belltown, of course more happening than SLU yet still affordable and not encroached by tall towers and sidewalks closed for construction yet.
Yes it’s very safe.
