Hi all, we have one kid and are debating about the second one. Is there anyone who regrets not having a second kid? And otherwise?
Definitely have it, and have it soon after the first one. Siblings will always be there for each other
This. I was the only kid and I definitely missed having a sibling. And miss now as well. I have 2 kids. They get along well with fights and kisses
If you just have 1, you will regret it years from now. Also don't have too many years of gap. 2 to 4 max.
Ppl should have 3 kids. Redundancy!
Wrong on so many levels
3 is the new 2.
1 kid allows you to still have a life, 2 kids means your life is watching them. if you and partner have a good relationship, stable income, and really want a 2nd kid, go for it. If you're concerned about retirement, maintaining relationship, consider only having 1. my parents fought about money, about us, and had no life basically until I left the house. Their unhappiness wasn't worth it for me to have a sibling. plus I'm not close with my sibling.
Can never have enough spare parts
My one kid ended up being twins. Two is fine. Make sure your partner is down for it, too.
Some younger people are not understanding a very subtle fact. If you have 2 kids , they look after one another leaving a lot of time free for you. Also if they are born close together, handling one takes care of the other also. So 2 kids close together is a good idea
Doesn’t work like that any more. Two kids means you have to keep them both entertained and prevent them from fighting.
Me and my sibling spend a lot of time together , and that took off quite some load off our parents , but yes exceptions might exist. We are two years apart
Just keep buying lottery tickets once you have 2 or more kids. You will need it for the college tuition

What would you do if you saw your high school bully crossing the street and you were in a truck?
Second kid is one of the best decisions you can make especially for your first kid. Having a sibling is invaluable and a source of a lifetime of support for your first kid. Family is forever and is the strongest bond you can create
Lol what I can't stand my sister and never have
Yeah, no. This is some idealized fairytale bullshit.
