I forgot I had an interview with G tomorrow, I thought it was a different week and just totally derped because I’ve been so busy lately. I’m not prepared at all and the recruiter is mad at me for trying to cancel the day before. Last year my interview feedback was a “near miss” according to the recruiter. The recruiter convinced me to keep the interview scheduled for tomorrow; I felt guilty as I’ve already pushed the interview back a few times and she said she’d have to fight to have it pushed back again. Should I go ahead and bomb the interview or should I cancel and maybe apply some other year? Does doing badly in an interview blacklist you?
Is canceling worse than bombing it?
If he bombs, there is a cool off period. If he cancels, he can interview whenever
You clearly don't want this position so let someone else who does get the opportunity
Looks like you don’t really want / need this job and are happy in your current role. If you did you wouldn’t have forgotten it. Go ahead and give the interview. You have nothing to loose !!
how do you remember to put on shoes each morning
Unfortunately, I’m a very forgetful person
Give it a shot. Hope for the best. Having the attitude that you’re 100% going to bomb if you don’t cancel isn’t doing you any favors. You wouldn’t have gotten this far if you were unqualified.
If u bomb it, u can’t interview again for a whole year. Just postpone it until you’re prepped.
Dude. Call in sick. Simple. If you are a woman you can just say you have painful cramps. They’ll bend over to accommodate and re-schedule. Problem solved. You’re welcome ;)
Dude, just go for it
Uh... reschedule, dummy
You are crazy. Give the interviee
