Don’t bring a gun to bed
Work out every day, but also do it at least 4 hours before you sleep or it keeps you up. Also limit caffeine intake and eat lightly at night

In addition to the helpful tips so far like a sleep mask, my 2 centavos would be: Consider a sleep supplement like Tranquil Sleep on Amazon which has 5-HTP and Melatonin (highly reviewed), add 250mg of magnesium as a subtle body relaxer and have a good night's rest. Eating a handful of cherries which have a lot of natural melatonin can help as well. If you have mental or body anxiousness then a FMR (forced muscle relaxation technique) can really help here. Look up some FMR videos on YouTube. If you are a light sleeper consider adding some white noise like a fan or alarm clock with rain, ocean waves, etc. These really help me. If you’re adjusting to a new schedule, it’s taken me a month to feel right after rolling back from a 2nd shift job to 1st. If this is ongoing and you haven’t tried to make any sleep schedule adjustments (restless when trying to fall asleep at the right bed time) make a Dr appt to try a prescription first. Quiz your doctor about available meds, on top of your own research, so you know of some alternatives if the first meds don’t work or have some shitty side effects.

Don’t jerk off before bed it increases your heart rate and makes it hard to sleep. Do it in the mornings.
