https://repher.me/r/-Ll1cX6QeSWZKQMa3Al0 In the tail end of my Amazon internship, looking for full-time SWE positions starting January 2020. Did 800+ unique LCs over the last five months. Not quite as many as the other guy but I’ve had full-time school/work the whole time 🤷♂️ I’ve also looped back through and solved many of these problems 2 or 3 times. Regularly beat ~95% users on mocks and usually hit top 200 in contests. Feel pretty confident about interviews and would appreciate referrals to get me started. Thanks!
Jeez someone get this person a referral ASAP.
Who are the 3572 fkers ahead of you. Jeez
Must be bots..OP is top 10 for sure
Haha no way, there are plenty of people better/faster than me, but I think if I did more contests I could work my way up to top ~500 rank or so
OP where do you do mocks?
Leetcode Mocks Its basically just a couple of timed LC problems, so not quite a full interview experience, but I still feel like its good practice
How are you on design?
What’s your leetcode routine like while also juggling school/work? I admire and respect your discipline. Having so much trouble myself.
During school I would just carry around my laptop and do a problem in between classes, and often during class as well It’s harder with work, but I usually can do a little bit in the evenings after work and a *lot* on weekends. It helps that I enjoy LC, so it never really felt like work
That’s hard core OP. I’m sure you’ll do fine.
Haha thanks
Does anyone care about that though? Nobody in the loop would look at them... Maybe the hiring manager will once decision has been made. Seems pointless. Correct me if wrong. Also, what if someone (like me) is looking to eventually monetized things that they’ve built? Sharing perhaps is not a great idea. GPA on the other hand — everyone will ask for that during the first 3 years of OP’s career at least.
Nobody ever asked me about GPA, even when I was interviewing at Google. I don't put it on my resume either.
