Recruiter just emailed me for another technical phone screen request even though I failed their first phone screen 3 weeks back. Usually every organization waits for 9-12 months before they ask you. BTW, it’s the same recruiter that I was working with 3 weeks back. Seems they just need more heads, current engineers leaving left and right after stocks reaching new lows!
Definitely desperate hire, two years back we auto-rejected any resume with Autodesk on it.
Lol, I got a mail to apply again even though just 1 week prior I had an offer from snap and rejected it
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Anyone working there right now can refer me? 🧐
Is Snap hiring ML/DS people in Seattle?
Snap is probably the only company that has auto rejected me so far (this was in 2015). Probably because I wasn’t from an Ivy or from a prestigious unicorn. And now two recruiters on LinkedIn have reached out to me in the last 3 months. Feels good to autoreject them by sending a canned “Not interested” response. The schadenfreude and their fall from grace has been hilarious!
“Our company is falling apart and we desperately need to hire, but this candidate didn’t memorize the latest leetcode hard questions asked by our junior developers!”
Was the phone screen difficult? From leetcode? Or something new? Do you mind sharing the question?
Geez.
