Please what do you think I should expect for a phone call interview for software engineer role. I’m a Data Scientist, transitioning to SWE, so every little tips will be appreciated 👏
Leetcode
My recent experience: 5 mins of questions relating to your resume then straight into LC style question, usually either medium or easy warm up + medium. They will drill into your understanding of time/space complexity. Good luck.
Check Leetcode.com 900+ program questions they will most likely ask you one of them. Probably a medium one.
In my recent experience. The interviewer was a really nice guy and jumped straight into coding. I was expecting some sort of DP or Trees/Graph problem but he asked an API design question. But that's not usual from what I've read and heard. My advice would be to try and chat with the interviewer a little before he jumps to the question by asking how his day has been or what's the weather like in that area. It helps calm your nerves.
Nice tips👌
Also there's this guy on YouTube, Sam. He's a life saver when it comes to coding. Checkout his blog and see the 50 questions he recommends. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWSYAntBbdd2SLYUqPIxo0w Also check out Irfan Baqui's YouTube channel. No problem! Best of luck :)
Just search for google interview on blind. There’s a ton of literature already out there on this specific topic.
Thank you.
