I came across some relevant openings at Square SF office. Can someone put in a referral?
Square is very responsive even without a referral. Saying this from experience applying to some positions few months ago and few years ago. The replied to all my applications. They do take sometime though. I encourage you to go ahead and apply if you don’t get a referral!
I got snubbed when I applied online there many years back during grad school. So was hoping to boost my chances with a referral. Thanks for the tip 👍
Oh, so here is the thing: Internal referral at Square doesn’t guarantee you even a phone call!
Ouch! That sucks! At least it won't hurt if I get one. On a related note how was your overall experience with them?
Are their offers competitive? Their stock seems to have flattened out
From what I have read on blind it's slightly below or at par. Don't know anyone in my circle who actually received an offer there so can't confirm though.
Competitive vs who? FAANG/unicorns? Not without stock growth. Against lower tier comp companies? Yep.
If you get in, fix CashApp. It’s a mess
The first thing I'll do once I get through that door. Promise! 😁
Cash team more siloed than Apple.
