I said I am joining a new company on my LinkedIn profile and not available for new opporunity. Stop sending me your job invite. Do you even read? LinkedIn add a new feature called no thanks block all non-contact communication.
I disabled it. They are still sending them. And humble brag ainβt applicable for koala.
Ohhhhh boooohooooooo ππ
Feel sorry for you π’
I now blame LinkedIn UX for not having a big section that says βno thanksβ.
Dude stop whining
Dude stop crying
People like you bring a bad name for blind platform Whatβs the point of this question?
Can you forward them to me?
I deleted them. If you want, I can put your url in my description!
So what company are you joining?
Itβs cool man. I just ignore or send a polite response. Weβre very lucky to be in a position where people want us. The same may not be true after 10 years.
I get itβs their job but their emails are so generic like they just randomly collect emails and have a selenium script running lol
LOL. Yeah sometimes I get offers from frontend developer positions. Not my cup of tea right now by a long shot, but hey, I still appreciate the effort. A time might come where Iβd be grateful for that email, never know.
are recruiters contacting you? You need not respond to them if you are not interested. Isn't it a good thing that the market wants you?
Why waste time on me when I CLEARLY stated no thanks please send it to someone else in my profile? It means they did not read a damn thing.
Think of this thread, and this comment when you get laid off at 45 and no recruiter wants to talk to you. I don't blame you. This sense of entitlement is pretty pervasive in all my friends in tech. Somehow the high TCs have given everyone an inflated sense of self worth. And for what? Being at the right place / right time with our college degrees? The tech industry thrives on getting bachelor coders to work long hours without expectation of WLB, also a bunch of stuff we do can be automated away. At the very least it can be simplified with better tooling that opens it up to a larger talent pool. All factors working against us in 5-10 years. All of them will hit us in the face at 45. Again, I don't blame you. I just feel sorry.
Not entitlement. Why waste time on me when I CLEARLY stated no thanks please send it to someone else in my profile? It means they did not read a damn thing.
Ever thought of just disabling your linkedin account?
Nope. I use it for my professional connection.
