According to Paysa, we are all squarely in the top 25% (never saw a TC below 100k on Blind) and PM >> SWE But then again I never see PM TC > 300k on Blind but it seems "common" for SWE on Blind - Are PM not on Blind? - Are PM less prone to bragging? - I'm full of sh*t and plenty of PM post >300k on Blind - Or for some reason PM on average make more than SWE but top 1% SWE make more than top 1% of PM? If so, please explain why you think that is
I’d say overall PM and SWE make the same, but it differs by company as some companies value one more than the other.
Which pay PM more?
At Microsoft PM makes the same as SWE. I’m a PM and have 250K TC, 3 YOE, L62 given stock appreciation + SSA (special stock awards) that are like retention stock bonuses.
