TC for Principal engineer at Splunk
Got pinged by a splunk recruiter. Taking with them next week. As usual one of the questions is going to be salary expectations. Comp.fyi has 2 TCs, 348k & 535k. So confusing! TC 350k

Splunk was ranked top paying company last year. My guess it was due to good stock appreciation. I was not impressed by the talent there tho. Hires from past couple years are in average mediocre and many looked like desperate moves by management to fill a seat.
We pay good base too. Principal can expect 200k base if you are the right candidate.
200 is low. What about stock?
