Anyone know how long it takes Tableau to make final decisions after interviewing? Friend said it took him two weeks.
Hopefully less time. Two weeks means they are either lacking in HR or very inefficient. After you interview, you shouldn’t take anytime making a decision unless you are fielding other applicants. That’s a little pretentious if you’re running several interviews and stacking up several candidates, only to sit on this high throne and gather like a counsel to decide the next person’s fate. If they take a long time, this may not be a place you want to work at. A week max for a non-IC role makes sense. 1 week or less for IC.
I agree with ^ this guy in decisions making
We don't compare candidates, but we do hire for a team. If that specific position was filled and you got a hire, it might be a couple of days around trying to fit you in one of the open positions for other teams
Just did my onsite with them last week. Got a positive response from them yesterday and expected to receive an initial offer today.
Congrats! What TC did you get? I’m expecting an offer soon as well. I felt like I did well on-site
Generally ~2 days unless someone is on vacation and they really want to wait for them
I agree
I thought you were asking about the Taliban hiring process... TC: 72 virgins in heaven.
I've got a team-lunch interview after clearing the on-site. Never heard of that before. They didn't communicate that either.
Screw Tableau. They ghosted me after I killed the interview.
Your friend is right. Director+ roles took months.
