I am considering pursuing either a tech-focused MBA or Hack Reactor boot camp to strengthen my skillset and transition to a tech company. Has anyone had success with either of these paths? What do people think are the pros/cons of each? I have business strategy and coding experience and am ideally looking for a role that combines both long-term.
If looking long term, go with MBA
They're not comparable at all! I did hack reactor actually. It was a really good program!! That said depending on your skill level it might be a bit of a waste. It is really designed to take people from 0 technical knowledge to getting an entry level (probably front end) job. Only reason I got such a good first job was because after the course I threw a ton of extra effort into learning more CS fundamentals. But it's an excellent jumping off point if you want to become a SWE
Thank you for this! Can I PM you some additional questions on the program?
Sure feel free
