How is the culture, benefit and compensation in general? Is work life balance good? Are most of engineers singles or people with families in Seattle office?
Bori, I like it. I came from MS (as many have), and I think the WLB is much better. Of course everything is team dependent, but I have found very little work after hours, most engineers have families. There seems to be a good balance of young and experienced. Benefits are mixed. 401k match is coming, health plan is Aetna, seems to be less out of pocket than the HD plan at MS. No free orca card, but subsidized transit.
