Those of you who take weekend trips to Europe from the U.S.
Which coast are you based out of? How do you do it in terms of PTO and time management/travel efficiency?

From East Coast, fly out Thursday night and leave on Monday morning. It can be a really beautiful long weekend in Paris, Rome, or Vienna.

Quite nice actually, esp if a direct flight. I can sleep on flights, so I wake up in Europe ready to go. On return, you have a night to sleep here before you return to work.

From Seattle, Thursday or friday 2pm flight to AMS or CDG, work on the flight for a few hours, arrive 9am, return Monday 2pm flight, work on the flight, back home by 4pm
West coast. Fly business class and get that π΄ in.
So you fly out Friday night and return Sunday night?
Yes. Sometimes Thursday night to Sunday night. Or Friday night to Monday night and take 1 day off or wfh from the plane.
