Anyone got offers from companies after interviewing with Triplebyte ?
Waste of time, they looking for rock star interviewers but if you already are, you don’t need them.
I just finished the triplebyte interview. Let’s see the feedback is.
This is what I heard too - the bar is high, but if you’re good enough at interviews to clear such a high bar, why bother with TB?
Oh man!
Amazon guy here is right.
I was asked to describe a bloom filter in depth and then was told I was weak on data structures.
Yeah they asked me about bloom filters. I had forgotten about it lol!
I told them I didnt really know exactly how it works but I know it tells you if something is definitely not in a set, but couldn't guarantee that it is present. Wasnt good enough for them haha
Succeeded their interview, no offers. To be fair I don't have a work authorization and this from the beginning (and I never hid this fact).
I also failed. But I don't see it as waste of time. They gave really good points on how to improve the lacking areas. I do agree with others tho. They're looking for rockstar interviewer who can do all FANG interviews plus the assignment ones and language specific ones. They found me weak on low level programming. I seriously don't think many companies ask that during their interview process
Yeah, they asked me about mutex, Malloc, free and other OS concepts which I recollected from memory! After my OS project coursework I haven’t even used them anywhere!!
Waste of time. If you pass their interview then you don't need them
Failed on their interview and was told that I was weak on multiple areas; I am top performer at Amazon and got promoted with 1 yoe so fuck off
You being a top performer has nothing to do with how you do in the interviews. Unfortunately most of the companies don't care about how well you do in real world scenario
What did you choose ? Generalist, frontend or backend ?
