Good! Stop kowtowing to one party dictatorships that want to censor you’re life!! Happy to pay for this

Microsoft MicroHard🍌 Oct 7, 2019

Would rather pay that money to US companies instead of to governments, foreign or domestic

Flowcast lulll Oct 7, 2019

That’s where our currency is going long term. Trump is making USA-made viable again, slowly but hopefully surely.

Microsoft MicroHard🍌 Oct 7, 2019

Hey tmDe is back for the daily trump hate. Don’t YOU have any problems to worry about?

Target tmDe33 OP Oct 8, 2019

I'm worried sick about how Mexico is going to pay for the wall.

Amazon Db8db4 Oct 8, 2019

Why don't you send them donations from your own pocket if you worry so much.

Flowcast lulll Oct 7, 2019

We have Dave Chapelle and South Park, you have Nickleback. Sad!

Amazon weeeeeeee Oct 7, 2019

Don’t you have carts to collect?

Target tmDe33 OP Oct 8, 2019

I'm on a break 👍

Tesla dizzypop Oct 8, 2019

I love how they control the cart “truck” remotely - it’s a very important job!

So, what exactly did we pay more for? Core inflations down I haven’t noticed anything. But I guess if yahoo wrote an article it must be true...

If you buy imported items, for example electronics, you will pay the tarifs. Tariffs are not a tax on China, they're a tax on US consumers that buy chinese products.

Can you provide some examples of specific items that have increased in price? Like I said I haven’t seen anything and no one’s ever shown any examples. I mean you realize that China devalued their currency by over 10% that and people are willing to take some haircuts on margins means it’s very doubtful that consumers in the US have seen any real increases. Certainly haven’t noticed any myself

Everything is “easy” when you’re delusional

Amazon takeiteazy Oct 8, 2019

People buy too much stuff anyways.

Amazon beaver Oct 8, 2019

Fake news!

Microsoft tdhhxti Oct 8, 2019

That's your answer to anything inconvenient!

Amazon Db8db4 Oct 8, 2019

Tax cuts $2000 per year, tariff costs $2000 per year... We're net neutral. Also, any statistician that uses the average number (for a complex data set) to show a point should be fired.

In every trade war, the consumer loses and they’re always the ones paying for it because prices go up. This also throws away decades’ worth of negotiation and stabilization. It’s a simple concept and yet this whole presidency willingly throws that away. Americans are just too stupid to understand that. And if it hurts the Trump supporting base, like the farmers, they’re given handouts aka “golden crutches”.

OK but you’re ignoring all the second order effects like currency devaluations, subsidies, and ability of importers and exporters to reduce their margin. Not to mention import source replacements. You seem like someone who is just pushing a narrative versus a serious analysis. Just saying

Walmart QXHR44 Oct 9, 2019

There’s no narrative. It’s researched science and proven fact that the consumer has the short end of the stick. Everyone that reduces margins has a limit and the usual fix is to raise prices which is a waterfall effect to the consumer. Diplomacy and soft power have been thrown out the window. Also, everything you just mentioned goes both ways to both countries. But sure, give Trump the benefit of the doubt, he’s doing amazing work for the American people with his unmatched wisdom lol.
