☝️this. Gig economy and low wage workers make up majority of the count and they work atleast two jobs to afford home and food. Dont bother asking if they can afford health care.

Absolutley! People need livable wages and not needing to work multiple jobs. @rickman - i dont know if you have kids or plan to, but imagine them almost never seeing the parents together because they are too busy working multiple (low wage) jobs just to maintain basic amenities. One bad day or dismissal away from ending up on street or not being able to afford meals. These people cannot financial plan their way out of poverty.

Is that even the case too? The article makes zero mention of contractors.

It's because more people have at least 2 jobs. Makes up for the ones without any.

This is bad, unemployment is too low. Hiring and retention is a pain and bad for business.

Well I am the corporate "overlord" as the business owner but yes that's the norm. Small business is the bedrock of the country and economic. Everyone cheers and supports it. This is the norm, not the exception.
