USCIS asking for social media creds, Blind uid.

Will you share your Blind user id with them with the understanding that not doing so is illegal? https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/02/us/us-visa-application-social-media.html

I’m pretty sure they most likely think Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. It’s also an interesting point what the difference is between an online community, online forum, and social media. If anything blind is anti-social. I would throw blind in with online communities/forums and not list unless they specifically called it out. I would also change display name before submitting and report that. It’s unclear whether they’re asking for login email or display name.

I'm pretty sure if you ask them they will ask for your blind id and that if you admitted to hiding it they will consider that a form of immigration fraud. How you would get caught is less obvious, but perhaps one day blinds user base will get hacked and USCIS will find you lied to them?

There are a bazillion online sites where you create accounts. I don’t think they’re expecting it all. And they say social media, a term never used before the Facebooks of the world, although MySpace is another good example. And no you did not lie or commit fraud. You interpreted their question to mean the big three.

They’re actually asking for the *credentials*?

Google cnbKpzdjf OP Jul 27, 2019

Well, no I meant the uid.
