Anyone take it recently? What should I look into before taking it? Any tips much appreciated!
Make sure you are proficient with Excel. Not to the level of knowing how to build VBA Macros, but being able to build pivot tables and knowledge of formulas at the very minimum. That will determine whether you finish the test on time or no. The math portion is fairly easy once you are able to digest and reorganize the data utilizing pivot tables. The test will take up your entire two hours to complete mainly due to the essay questions in the end, unless they took those out. I would spend at least the first 10 minutes downloading and reorganizing the raw data into different pivot tables so that once you are ready to tackle the math portion, you're just switching a few filters or writing a basic formula and get your answer within a minute. If you spend more than a minute in a math question, move on and come back to it if you have time. A lot of folks make the mistake on focusing they get the math portion completed and correct, and then leave themselves little to no time for completing the written answer portion. Best of luck!
