What's up with uber? My recent drivers cannot use GPS, got lost and the experience was overall terrible. Makes me yearn for a cab. Why is anyone working for this shit show?!!!
Cannot as in are incapable of using a nav system. Not to mention not having any intate knowledge of major landmarks in the city. Do you really need GPS to figure out which highway to take from Seattle to the airport?!
Yes.. the driver quality in Seattle is going downhill fast even for uber black .. I watch them watch the GPS and *still* miss the correct turn. sad.
It's the same in SF. Half my drivers now are either reckless assholes or incompetent.

Conceptually agree with you, but can't force them to use GPS if they don't want to.

Yup, take Uber at least 4 times a week. Getting shitty during peak hours.

Uber is not going to ever be able to offer its users true safety and security because it's NOT a True Sharing Economy. The business model is flawed. Caluber will be launched in a few weeks and will make Uber and Lyft obsolete. Nobody really wants a stranger picking them up or delivering their food.
