Uber Senior SWE salary?
Had a friend join recently, told me he made 160k + 15% bonus for Senior SWE, does that sound accurate? ~3 years relevant exp., Last worked at two failed startups, so almost want to call BS.

Too low. Most senior eng today will start around 175-180+. Bonus/refreshers around 100k and stock anywhere from 400-700k.

Also Uber doesn’t give bonus as percent of base. So the 15% sounds like bs
