Uber Toronto office?
I saw Uber opening office in Toronto or may be they have already. I can see very few job openings there - like one or two. Do you guys know if there will be many tech jobs in Uber Toronto . If yes, when? Also what kind of work will be there. Any major teams or projects that will move or start from there. Current Tc 200k, yoe 3 yrs
Yes, taking into consideration stock increase. I switched to Service now 2 years back and good stocks. It paid really well!

Probably will be slow. Toronto has good talent but certainly has a lot of catch up to do, for attracting more talent. Hopefully more companies follow suit.

We no longer do per team job ads, if they do not have special needs. General swe/frontend positions will be used for multiple teams.
Do you have any updates about Uber Toronto, I cant see swe jobs. I can just see one engineering manager jobs. I believe they plan to expand in Toronto so more ads for swe/ frontend jobs will be there .
Torontonian here. Your comp will be lower, COL higher, the weather sucks and traffic is as bad as the Bay area. Also housing is almost on par with the Bay area
