I interviewed with two teams together. Half interviewers came from each team. Are they going to give feedbacks to each other and make decisions together? In other words do they make one decision that I either pass both or get rejected by both? Is it likely that I pass one and be rejected by the other?
Very common. After interview we all get together to first determine whether you are a fit for Uber. If so, we determine whether you are good fit for each team. In the case both teams like you, you’d be offered to choose one.
I don’t know if you are actually interviewing for two teams. I rarely interview candidates who are for my team. It’s partially just who is available and partially to mitigate bias. Everyone meets together to discuss and agree on an answer, usually the next day but can take longer if there are scheduling issues.
Recruiter asked me to pick two teams to interview. All interviewers are from the two teams except bar raiser. Do candidates you interviewed picks team before interviewing?
I guess there’s also general hiring in Uber?
