Uber offer pullback
I got an offer from Uber (5b TC ~$450k). I told them it's not enough. A week later was told the position is not needed anymore. Now I'm stuck, what to do?

They hired someone else. The right way to ask for more money is by getting a counter offer from another firm.

I think when I interviewed with then they said let us know when you are ready to make a decision because once we make the offer you have 5 biz days to accept it.
I was told 72 hours, damn recruiters.
There’s always risk in negotiating. People think it’s risk free for some reason. 🤷♀️
It depends on how you negotiate. You might have sounded greedy and a candidate not to rely on for longterm.
