Since these numbers and titles are public, are the H1B LCA salaries a good gauge for how much a job title is worth? Job titles are all different at each company so it’s tough to research market value. I know it doesn’t cover equity but base should be at least half of TC so it’s a good start right? Seems more accurate than outdated, self-reported Glassdoor data.

H1B reported salaries are lower than the real salaries for some companies such as Netflix.
How is this legal? Isn't it perhury or something to state wrong numbers on a government petition?
I think companies can report a lower salary as long as it is more than the H1B salary requirements.
That’s a good source but I want more data especially for non-SWE jobs.
Okay so if you see offers with similar numbers as US citizen you can be sure you’re getting lowballed?
H1Bs get a fraction in salaries compared to residents and citizens.
I suspect this is company dependent.
It depends on experience of prospect employee, not the company.

H1B people don't have as much leverage so I would add to those numbers. Also the more senior you get the more comp is equity so base doesn't really tell you much
Isn’t the whole purpose of LCA and posting salary publicly so people on visas are not getting exhorted to show pay is equal to us citizens?
Hard for pay to be equal when you are at a systematic advantage.
