Venmo NYC User Experience SWE
How's the user experience team. Want a change of scenery from Redmond? I do have kid and don't want to be at work all the time.

It’s pretty good. Venmo has a great business opportunity and the eng team is pretty good. Needs better leadership but they’re working on that. PayPal stock has been doing pretty great the past few years as well. I’d say 7.5/10.

It’s really shitty at Venmo. I have friends there and they have a weird waterfall development process along with a horrible infrastructure. Their leadership is also really bad! Have you seen a single new improvement in Venmo in the last 4-5 years, I haven’t seen any tbh ...
Agreed I hated it. I also didn't think the talent there is strong by any means. A lot of loafers!
The recruiter had an attitude issues.
