Visa vs. PwC

This month I received 2 offers both entry level; one offer from Visa for a Financial Analyst role. Salary 72k plus bonus, location SF. The second offer from PwC as a Risk Assurance Associate. Salary 58 plus bonus, location Miami, Fl I am really struggling to make a decision because both opportunities sound good. But long term I’m not sure which is a better strategy Any thouhgts or advice?

Miami is a very odd city, not everyone speaks English. Might need to brush up on your Spanish

No income taxes in Florida too. But my friends tell me pwc can be a slave driver. Best of luck

You’ll work more at pwc

You’ll prob have a better exit strategy from PWC with better brand prestige. You can jump to FP&a then and be at 100+ . Visa FP&A exit is not that compelling

72K in SF is beyond working poor. Go to FL.

PWC, you’re going to struggle living in SF with that salary. Miami is more forgiving and has more options for housing at that level

72k in San Fran? You will just get to pay the rent.

Don’t take either, look for better options

i have been with pwc for a couple of years.. you would learn a lot there.. but i would have anyway preferred a 72k..

SF is so expensive. FL has no state income tax so your money will go a long way
